Lessons in Chemistry has created a LOT of noise for very good reasons. I love that book clubs continue to pick it up. And I LOVE the controversy it creates for amazing conversations.
I'm noticing a trend wherein "feminism" itself is supposedly telling some of us not to be "female", and I find that picked up in some of this novel's controversy, yet, isn't the truest definition of "feminism" to support whatever the individual CHOOSES to stand for, or do, with their life?
1) well written
4) informative - um, have you counted how many words you have taught your dog? I was inpired to do so and am at 100 at least, but not quite 700+
