Independents Inform our Curiousity

Loved this piece by Naomi Skwarna @awomanskwarned .  It's a refreshing reminder of how much value fellow readers add to your new book finding journey.  And, an annoying reminder of how many times I've asked people who don't truly love reading for recos or questions while navigating their bookstore.  Great to see the data that these independents are not going down the drain, but actually finding ways to evolve and thrive in the face of competition and new channels to operate in.  https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/books/article-the-little-bookstores-that-could-why-independent-shops-are-showing/
